Improv Alchemy: Transforming Objects into Characters

This workshop is for players who want to dive deeper into scene work! In this immersive improv workshop, you'll dive into character creation using everyday objects as your inspiration. Through imaginative exercises, you'll craft characters, relationships, and storylines inspired by the unique traits of these objects, driven by believable emotions, desires, and fears. With the belief that inspiration is abundant, you'll be guided through activities to demystify character work, making it accessible, enjoyable, and authentic. By embracing your creativity in this playful and natural way, you may surprise yourself in how effortlessly you can generate compelling characters and create playable narratives with your teammates.

A Few Housekeeping Notes:

This workshop is open to players 18 years and older.

We will be suggesting a $5 donation to Lincoln Improv Collective to participate, collected at the door, but if you are unable to donate at this time, please still feel free to register!
